RTP Database - 33 Slots, 30 Tested, 4 Hidden

Every slot in this database has been checked at a real casino, in a real money session. We open the in-game paytable and record what it says. Providers publish a max RTP. Casinos choose which variant to run. This is what they actually chose.

How to Read This RTP Database

Every row in this table is a real in-game check. We opened the paytable on a live session and recorded the number. That is the RTP the casino is running - not what the provider says in a press release.

Two numbers matter most: Max RTP (what the provider publishes as the best possible setting) and Tested RTP (what we saw in the actual game). The Gap column shows the difference. A gap of -2pp means you get 2% less back than the max figure suggests.

What the gap colours mean

Red - badGap over -2pp. The casino is running a noticeably lower RTP than the published max.
Amber - okGap between -0.01pp and -1.99pp. Lower than max, but within a typical range.
Green - at maxThe casino runs the highest RTP variant the provider offers. Best case scenario.

Step-by-step: how to use this table

01
Pick a casino you play at

Use the Casino column to filter to Pistolo or Wild Tokyo. You can also type the casino name in the search bar.

02
Sort by Gap

Click the Gap header to sort smallest to largest. The worst-value slots rise to the top immediately.

03
Check Hidden entries

If a casino refuses to show the RTP in-game, the Tested RTP column says Hidden. That alone tells you something.

Each slot page shows the exact session date, the bet level tested, and a screenshot of the in-game paytable.

What Does the RTP Gap Actually Cost You?

RTP stands for Return to Player. A slot with 96% RTP returns £96 for every £100 wagered - on average, over millions of spins. Your session will not match that number exactly. But the setting the casino chooses sets the long-run ceiling.

Here is the problem. Providers publish a maximum RTP. Most games come in 3-4 variants: 94%, 95%, 96%, sometimes 97%. The casino picks which one to run. They almost never pick the highest.

Real example - Merge Up at Wild Tokyo. BGaming publishes a max RTP of 97.25% for Merge Up. Wild Tokyo runs it at 94.25%. That is a 3pp gap. On a £500 losing session, that gap alone accounts for £15 in extra losses compared to the max-RTP version of the same game.

That is why we check in-game rather than relying on published figures. The max RTP is real - but it may not be what your casino chose to run.

Slot Volatility Explained - Low, Medium, High, Very High

Volatility (also called variance) describes how a slot pays. It has nothing to do with RTP - a high-volatility slot can have the same long-run return as a low-volatility one. What changes is how that return is distributed across your session.

Low volatility

Pays out small wins often. Your balance moves slowly. Good for stretching a budget or clearing a bonus. Bankroll swings are small, but big wins are rare. Examples in this database: Le Fisherman, Tidal Gold, Its Shark Time.

Medium volatility

A middle ground. You will see moderate wins at a reasonable pace. Most casual players find this the most comfortable setting. It avoids the long dry spells of high variance without feeling like penny drops. Examples: Le Zeus, Demon Queen, Fishermans Luck.

High volatility

Wins come less often, but they are larger when they land. Expect long gaps between significant pays. You need a bigger bankroll to ride out the dry spells. The RTP still applies over millions of spins - but your session may end well before that evens out. Examples: Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead.

Very high volatility

Extreme swings. You can lose your session stake in 20 spins - or double it. These slots are built around rare, massive hits. The average player will almost never see the top end of the pay table. Only play these if you are comfortable losing your full session stake before a win arrives. Examples: Merge Up, Cult, Big Bass Splash.

Our advice: If you are new to a game, start with low or medium volatility. Check the RTP in-game before you commit any budget. Use the filter above to find only the slots where your casino runs the max RTP variant - those are the best-value options available to you right now.
