I have spent 4 years tracking RTP data across online casinos. My focus is the gap between the RTP a casino advertises and the RTP players actually get - two numbers that are often very different.

Every casino on this site is checked against provider RTP documentation and, where available, regulator licence data. We find which RTP variant each casino is actually running - then show you the gap between that and the provider maximum.

Before building CasinoWinRate, I noticed that most casino review sites copy RTP figures straight from provider marketing sheets. Those figures are theoretical maximums set in lab conditions. What players actually get at a live casino is often lower. That gap is what this site measures.

How I Test a Casino

  1. Locate the Game RTP

We find the official RTP figure published by the game provider - either in the paytable, game rules, or provider documentation.

  2. Check Casino Game Version

We verify which RTP variant the casino is running. Many casinos run a lower-RTP version of the same game without telling players.

  3. Cross-Reference Licence Data

Where regulator data is public (UKGC, MGA), we cross-reference the casino's published RTP against the licence records.

  4. Compare Against Provider Maximum

The casino's running RTP is compared against the provider's maximum. Any gap is flagged and the difference is shown in percentage points.

  5. Score and Rank

Casinos are scored on how close their running RTPs are to the provider maximum across all checked titles. Lower gaps score higher.

  6. Publish the Raw Data

Every figure, source, and comparison is published openly so readers can verify the numbers themselves.

Editorial Policy

Real Data Only

Every RTP figure comes from recorded sessions, never copied from provider marketing pages.

No Paid Rankings

No casino has ever paid for a higher score or a better position on this site.

Honest Weaknesses

If a casino has poor RTP results, we say so - even if it reduces affiliate income.

Sources Cited

Every RTP figure links back to its source - provider docs, regulator records, or game paytables. Nothing is stated without a reference.
